Jalin Realty was referred to me as my selling agent (following an unpleasant experience with my previous agent). My apartment then was already empty (with no rental income but still have to fulfil other expenses such as council rates, strata levies, water rates) pending sale. Adrian came across a very authentic person and painted a realistic picture of slow sale in current COVID situation. He proactively suggested putting up my apartment up for short term stay pending sale. We ran into a multitude of challenges which including collection of keys from the previous agent managining my apartment. And the condition of the apartment was not at its the best. I am really appreciative of Jalin for arranging the cleaning of the apartment, reconnecting the electricity, disposal of some furniture items, etc so that the marketing team can take pictures to begin advertising the unit. It is difficult given that I was living overseas. Team Jalin kept me posted regularly and took great care of all details, giving me great confidence and peace of mind. As my studio apartment is of a size where buyers would not qualify for a bank loan - I knew fully well that there will not be many offers. Adrian would share info with me on price of other apartments and discuss with me on appropriate price adjustments. We had an offer but way lower than what I was prepared to accept. Adrian managed to renegotiate the final sale price to my threshold value. A big Thank you to Adrian. The commission charged and cost of advertising was competitive (lesser than my previous selling agent was charging me). The sale finally took place (within 6 months) compared to the 14 months taken by the previous agent and the unsuccessful sale/rescission of sale. I highly recommend Jalin and team as both rental and selling agent.
