Putting a deposit down on your dream home before selling your existing home comes with great risk, but with the help of Aimee, we did it! When we first contacted Elders Real Estate in regards to the house for sale in Silverdale, we were really only dreaming. We didn't think we could sell our home in order to be able to buy this, and without hesitation, they arranged a free appraisal and come to see us the following day. Aimee had us a copy of the appraisal straight away and we went to speak with our lender to see if it was possible. We were very concerned about the sale of our house but Aimee gave us plenty of options and suggestions to keep us calm and help us make our dream come true. Getting ourselves into a difficult situation, Aimee kept us confident and made the process a breeze! Just as the market started to drop, we fell in love with a new family home and had to sell ours fast. Aimee arranged extended settlement on the new house, but still had no guarantee that our house would sell before this time. Aimee arranged for the contract to be drawn up fast and had two open homes booked for the Thursday and Saturday the week of us deciding to sell. Our first open home was not the best result, but Aimee had a couple that couldn't make it to either of the open homes together, so she took them through separate on the Friday. The day of the second open home, Aimee called me to say we had our first offer. It was from the couple who saw the house on Friday. It was at the bottom of the scale for what we were asking and she told us we could wait for more if we like. Even though we were desperate to sell, we trusted Aimee and took all of her advise. She understood how stressed we were and always kept me calm. Within a couple of hours, we had an offer at our asking price and we agreed to sell our home. During a time where the media was telling everyone how much the housing market has dropped and homes are not selling, we couldn't have been happier with the outcome. To close the sale, Aimee worked until all hours of the night (on a Friday) to ensure everything was confirmed for us. Even during the 6 weeks cooling off period we had plenty of questions and at no time did Aimee not pick up her phone or respond to a text message. The process could not have been easier.
