Al worked hard to convince us to go to market but unlike other real estate agents, that’s not where the hard work stopped. He encouraged us to go to auction and during the open homes he communicated with and treated our existing tenants with respect and courtesy. He kept in constant contact with us throughout the campaign and he gave relevant and honest feedback following every open home. Al kept us informed regarding every aspect of the auction and we felt that he was really considering our needs. The property did not sell at auction but Al continued to work hard for us and he was able to obtain and sign a buyer a few days later for a price that we were very happy with. We chose Al because even before we had met him, he came across as persistent yet always polite and professional. He contacted me on several occasions to keep the communication channels open. I wouldn’t normally have chosen an agent from outside of his usual geographic area, however, in this case he trumped local agents by having a can-do attitude and showing a willingness to market our property at a price bracket that others dismissed. Although we were unsuccessful at auction, our expectations were realigned to the market realities and with Al’s drive and professionalism, managed to get a fair price for our property.
