Re: Sale of 89 Prince Edwards Street, Blackheath
People always say that selling your home, particularly by auction, is a very stressful time.
Alan and his impressive team at Ray White Blackheath could not have done more to alleviate any anxiety we might have had. With a clear plan of action to cover every possible outcome, we knew that nothing was being left to chance. Our marketing plan was comprehensive and every lead logged and followed up meticulously. Open homes on the weekends were, likewise, run with the precision of a military operation and a database of every single ‘attendee’ built up to create a dynamic picture of how the market was responding to our property. As the campaign proceeded we were kept appraised every single step of the way.
Perhaps the most impressive part of the whole process was Alan’s uncanny ability to see through the often confusing “white noise” of market feedback. His initial appraisal and market estimate had been higher than we had anticipated (well into our “extremely optimistic” range!) and this valuation was not being matched by opinions expressed by interested parties. In any other situation, and with another agent, this would have been extremely unsettling, but Alan’s capacity to work with the fundamentals rather than the emotions proved him absolutely right. After spirited bidding, we sold under the hammer and achieved a price right at the very top of his estimated range, well in excess of what we had ever thought possible.
This was an extraordinary process and we were so grateful to have Alan and his team working for us, and to realise us such a fantastic result.
