It's a long time since we have sold a property, and much has changed since those days over 40 years ago. The property we had at the above address started out to be a place for my parents to move to, then a place for us to go to when we sold up in Sydney, but somehow those plans did not come to fruition. After the last Tenant, we decided to sell - the house was always seen as part of our retirement plan however it went, and now we will get out of the rental market altogether. But, We would both like to thank Elders for the time we have had with it, and the role that Alex played in the last times of our property ownership. We were very dependent on local advice as we were not living in the area, and we do believe that Alex did her level best to get the highest return for us. We were initially hopeful of a higher sale figure due to the big outlay we had to make to have the property up to scratch for sale, and we did all we reasonably could to make the property as saleable as reasonably possible. And Alex played a big part in that, she had good ideas, good methodology in her sales approach and induced a high level of confidence for us. Looking back at the whole history, there are a few tales of woe in there (after 15 years, how could it be anything else?) But for Robyn and me now, as we are in our 70's, we are now at a stage in our lives where we do not want the worry and dramas of leasing property. We sincerely wish Alex all the best in every way, and we would certainly deal with her again should the opportunity arise - and it could, one never knows what tomorrow will bring. Thank you Alex, you have seen the sale through a few tough moments, but you (and us), have prevailed.
