Alex handled the sale of the unit including inspection prior to advertising, assessment on a realistic sale price, placing of the advertising and arranging open inspection times. Within two weeks Alex had attracted an offer for the unit, negotiated a higher offer from the proposed buyer at my suggestion, and sealed the sale which was later settled in the normal time frame. My intention was to purchase a unit for owner occupation. l had researched many units on line but was extremely disappointed with the condition of all the units l had inspected. The unit Alex was presenting was the most attractive l had seen, however there was a problem with obtaining vacant possession. After discussions with Alex a plan was developed that enabled to purchase, which was at a very good price, to proceed. Settlement has not yet taken place and while l remain a little nervous, the matter should proceed smoothly.
Alex was great to deal with. I had an unrealistic price expectation for the unit, following online generic valuations, and Alex was open and honest throughout the process about how to realistically price the property in order to achieve a sale. He provided regular updates and was always willing to answer my questions or queries. An initial offer didn't proceed and whilst I was disheartened, Alex was confident in achieving a sale, and he was right!
