Alex is honest and his advice can be trusted implicitly. I would consider that to be one of the highest possible compliments in the world of real estate. This is the second time I have used Alex as my agent. Years ago he sold a townhouse that I co-owned with my daughter. With his advice, and hard work, we sold for a record price in that complex (a record held for some years). Now, in regards to my recent sale Alex was again truly exceptional. Looking for a new home, purchasing that new home, renovating and eventually moving took an inordinately long time. Over that extended period Alex had freely provided unbiased, and very helpful advice on the purchase of that new home (in the Blue Mountains). Over that very long period Alex provided free advice on selling my current home (i.e., what would be needed to go on-market) and ongoing estimates of its value. Alex had also quoted his commission and charges very early on (these were much much lower than the other agents that had approached me). When I eventually signed with Alex he kept the same low fees he had quoted me over a year earlier. Alex treated me as a valued customer, and as a friend (which was as unexpected as it was very much appreciated). I was approached to sell off-market. Alex then had to deal with a challenging Buyer's Agent; eventually obtaining a much higher price directly from the interested buyer. Our final sales price (for my unrenovated home) was at the top of Alex's earlier estimates. I wanted to detail this lengthy engagement to put the following comments in proper perspective. Alex's market knowledge is exceptional (helping me successfully buy outside of his local area), his communcations were excellent (never intrusive like other agents constantly asking me to sell with them), his ethics are impeccable (having to deal with a difficult Buyer's Agent). Alex is honest and realistic. He never over promises (unlike other agents), but you can always trust that Alex will do his absolute best for you.
