Ali was fantastic the whole way through the home purchase process. During the initial inspection, he made himself available for any questions about the property without being intrusive. Ali was attentive between the inspection and auction, answering any queries I had and ensuring I was armed with everything I needed before auction day. I felt 100% comfortable with and confident in Ali's capabilities and am glad to have been able to have purchased my first home through him.
As a buyer who has spoken to numerous estate agents I felt the most comfortable with Ali. I have been looking to purchase my next family home for nearly 6 months and was almost going to give up until I found a house I actually liked. As the estate agent for the vendor he was very honest with me from the beginning and kept me in the loop about what his vendors expectations were with regards to the auction of his house. Harcourts Roxburgh Park left us disappointed due to their unprofessional handover during settlement. Our real estate agent Ali Celik was calm and professional at the beginning and clearly eager to make a sale, however, once the contract was signed, approaching our settlement date, we inspected our purchased property only to find litter, rubbish and the house rendering was being repaired and did not match the overall colour scheme of the house. While its not the agent’s fault, rather the vendor, Harcourts Ali ill-advised us that the deposited funds would be withheld if the property was not in the state we had purchased it in. (According to our conveyancer this was not at all true!). We don’t appreciate dishonesty, 'beating around the bush' and ill advice on such short notice. Furthermore, the exchange/handover of the keys on settlement day was not organised at all. Harcourts handed us the garage remote, and we found only ONE key to the front door. We contacted the agent Ali Celik numerously about the keys, and we did not receive any other keys. Ali did not follow it up or and had to contact and chase him up about it, which was highly disappointing and unprofessional. We never recieved any other keys or contact from Ali. The vendor we purchased from is a developer who has made previous sales through Harcourts and clearly liases with Ali Celik and Harcourts to 'scratch each others back'. Once the money and settlement was done, Ali and Harcourts did not seem to care and do not professionally exchange basic handover of keys for their clients. This compromised our safety and security in our new home. Ali, please learn to ensure client satisfaction from beginning to end. TLDR; Friendly to begin with, but Highly disappointing and dishonest.
