Alisha worked hard to be nominated as our real-estate agent, and we mean hard. She literally had to pound the pavement: Visiting the unoccupied house, turning lights on and off for us, coordinating key entry for tradies, etc. We cannot fault her market knowledge, or her sales professionalism. Where there was a tad of a problem was in communicating to us out-of-State owners, the intracies of the Tasmanian purchase process. We had (mistakenly) thought we understood the marketing timetable and the order of events, only to find ourselves having to make on-the-spot decisions because in reality, we had not understood when a Tasmanian Purchase Contract was irrevocable (even though we are experienced owners). As a suggestion: Perhaps a written document/flowchart of the order of events might be useful for those owners and buyers who are not from Tasmania. We didn't have a need to explicitly test Alisha's negotiation skills because she found our buyer within 24 hours of the house going on the market. What a relief! From the marketing information she provided (and months of our own research) we knew the offer we received was not excessive, but fair. When Alisha told us that this first offer from the buyers was their maximum bid, we trusted her to be telling us the truth (Credibility=5-stars). We accepted the offer with no negotiations. The three stars for Negotiation Skills are therefore a "not applicable" result. The fees for Alisha's guidance through the process were near enough identical to those quoted from other well known real-estate offices in Hobart. Buying or selling is an incredibly stressful time - even for an inexpensive property, it's a LOT of money. You may well find a cheaper sales representative that Alisha, but you won't find a better one. And in our opinion, buying or selling property is not the time to risk saving a few dollars in contracting to anyone less than totally professional.

Alisha always dealt with us with a professional and cheerful manner. I would not hesitate in recommending her to anyone looking to sell or buy!
