Before making contact with Alistair about buying one of his properties, I did some background checking with several local tradies and people who worked with him in the past to get a sense of the listing agent before making an offer. Every single review of him came back consistently that he was an honest and 'good bloke'. After having worked with him directly, I am able to support that as well. My experience with Alistair is that he is very professional and hard working. He has a courteous and honest manner about him which is fairly standard and what you would expect from any agent anyway, but the things that stood out for me about him that were different from other agents were his no high pressure sales approach (which turns me off and makes me cringe), he was very flexible and willing to adapt to my needs as a shift worker when communicating, respecting my timetables. I did get the impression that he worked and advocated as hard as anyone could, while striking the balance between pushing for his client, but not too hard to drive me away as a buyer. Alistair also used a video upload which I loved and was the thing that hooked my interest, I got a feel as he walked through the property that I was walking through myself. he seemed to address the good points and some of the faults which gained him credibility as making an honest showing. He seems to understand and use technology appropriately that makes things easy to work with him, as a buyer, I hate it more than I can express when people just provide the bare minimum effort and information and expect it to be acceptable. Alistair I felt has a great work ethic and moral character to him which at least in my books puts him above most. I would have no problems recommending working with Alistair either as a seller or a buyer, and hope to work with him again some day in the future.

Alistair was an excellent agent, there were a few hiccups during the sale, he dealt with them and negotiated a hot water service from vendor. And did whatever it took to guarantee settlement. My daughter and myself would both use Alistair for any future business.
