Refreshingly honest

I don't normally write reviews, let alone positive reviews for real estate agents, but Amanda deserves one. I'll start by saying that I find real estate agents a difficult group to trust. I had been house hunting for several weeks and crossed paths with Amanda at a few properties. She was never pushy or overly probing with her questions. She was always polite and simply wanted to understand what we were looking for in our new home. After several weeks, Amanda had a property coming up that ticked a lot of our boxes. She had contacted me in the weeks leading up to it coming onto the market to let me know about the property. After doing our checks and deciding we liked the place, it was time to make an offer. This was the part I was dreading. Previous experiences with other agents had made me expect the usual games. I had a very open and honest discussion with Amanda about our budget and what we could offer. She was genuinely helpful and transparent about what the sellers were expecting. There were no games, no pressure and no claims about other offers. Just open, honest negotiation. Everything was sorted out within the day.
