Wow what a tough year 2020 has been for house sellers! We had one agent from another firm (shall not be named) who tried to pressure us to accept an offer more than $50k below where we eventually sold it. After dropping that agent, I went to Butler. Good man. He knew what we wanted and made sure he got there. And he sure did in what has been a roller coaster property market. Absolute gun! When you need a hard working, smart agent on your side as a seller, he is your man. We actually bought the house from him and can safely say he is an absolute professional.

Andrew was professional in the way he handled the sale of our house. He was easy going and pleasant to deal with and kept us informed of the interest during open for inspections. We were disappointed that the house was passed in on a vendor bid and there were no actual bids at the auction itself. But the house sold soon after during negotiations. We would have liked to have sold for a bit more, given that the house had been extensively renovated and on a good sized plot. However, we were in a position where we had already bought, so were relieved for the sale to go through. I think given that the price point for the house was at the pointy end where there is less market demand, Andrew negotiated a fair price for a great house.

The EPR of $700,000 to $750,000 was well exceeded with the final result of $977,000 being achieved. Having set a reserve of $740,000, I was a little concerned that you had to start the bidding off with a vendor bid of $700,000, however, after that, the bidding took off and you kept the momentum going to achieve the final excellent result.
