In general we were pretty happy, we'd tried selling the house previously and for some unknown reason it hadn't moved as we'd hoped, however, Andrew was able to get it sold - possibly under what we'd really been hoping for, but in a tough market we were reasonably happy as it allowed us to move on with our new lives aboard. Some challenges popped up during the settlement period, and unfortunately, at that stage, both my wife and I, as well as our conveyancer, felt that Andrew was working for the buyer and not us, which was disappointing. I think in hindsight, this added to the significant amount of stress we were already dealing with as every morning you're waiting to hear something and either not hearing anything or when you do talk to Andrew he's "disappointed for the buyers because they're really nice people..." when in reality my wife and I bent over backward and did well and truly more than we were legally required to do. If we didn't have the troubles, which weren't cause by Andrew, then I would have given a 4 or 5 star response, and we would have been happy, however, given we were the ones paying his salary, that we were let down by him working for the buyer. In the end, Debbie, we felt, got a hold of the situation and everything worked out, so that was good, but it was a good 6 weeks of unsurety that we had to go through, largely unsupported by Andrew that we were somewhat let down by. And if Andrew reads this, I hope he feels this is a fair reflection of the event.
Andrew's knowledge of the area was amazing. He was professional at all times and his communication was outstanding.
