My wife and I first met Andrew at one of his open homes in the area, unbeknownst to him we were looking for an agent to sell our property. From the start, we knew Andrew was not like other agents, to him we were buyers and his approach was simply genuine, warm and welcoming. Once Andrew learned we were in fact selling, his tact did not change or mould to suit a "seller" as other agents had previously. That was when we knew he was different. After a quick catch up at our place Andrew came prepared and we went over all of our intentions, plans, expectations and questions (of which there were plenty). Andrew was so patient with us in explaining the process but also being clear about his understanding of the market and our options. We did meet with two other agents and Andrew was the stand-out. Andrew was passionate about his craft and as I had requested he would always give it to us straight. The process to get the property to market was great too, it wasn't too rushed and high pressure, he always checked up on us and was our main point of contact throughout, we had a group chat where we communicated about anything anytime. The team arranged for a stylist to come and work with our furniture and gave us a list of items to buy ourselves to finish the look which was a great alternative to full or partial styling which can be quite expensive. Andrew's team (Holly, Angelo and Dan) were fantastic and so reliable and always very well presented and professional. Though the market slowed during our campaign Andrew and the team persisted running two (sometimes three) open homes a week where after each open we had a update phone call from Andrew about how it went, level of interest etc. During a period where there was a drop in groups coming to the opens, Andrew revived the marketing and generated attention that eventually got us there and finally sold with the best result possible and for that we are so grateful to the McConnell Bourn team.
