Helpful not helpful

Andrew was professional and helpful in the purchase of my property. However, what I thought I was buying was not what I got. The photos and description showed a clean house in good condition. When I moved in, I found most of the lights didn't work, using the range hood short circuited half the house, none of the locks worked, the toilet leaked, the "timber floorboards" were clickclack, there were major drainage issues, a section of weatherboards had been removed and dumped on the lawn, the gutters were blocked, a bedroom door was entirely missing, there were eight holes in the walls and it was overgrown at time of settlement. I paid top dollar and would have appreciated a more accurate representation of the true state of the property.

Andrew, was very honest and open about the valuation of our property, he didn’t over value it, so when it sold we were quite happy with the deal, he is very professional and courteous and we have used his services twice so far and would use him again.

Andrew has a wide client base, and we experienced a fast efficient sale. Fees and marketing costs were made clear and were excellent value comparative to other agents. Would definitely recommend.

To Seller's

100% Honesty. I was advised that 'several' interested purchaser's were very keen. 1st contract fell through the day prior to end of contract date. 2nd contract ..... no deposit was received (which should have made that contract null & void), but yet Seller had to wait until end of contract date (after extension of original contract date due to the purchasers request) .... only to be advised that the purchaser's had made no effort & would not answer call's from the RE Agent, soooo the 2nd contract also fell through. 3rd contract, after more extension request's it FINALLY went through & the property was sold. YAY!! Finally a happy seller! So, basically ..... after promises of a sale (not once, but three times) I was left waiting, waiting, waiting for pretty much a very extended period of time. The RE Agent phoned me regularly 'yes', BUT that was to return my call's. I also had a large home on acreage to sell with problem tenants to evict to enable pic's to be taken to sell the property. The tenant's refused access to the RE Agent & also refused photos to allow the sale. The Property Manager would 'not' take on the property management. I was told that it was 'too hard'. Yet.... ANOTHER Real Estate Property Manager from a different Real Estate was more than happy to take over the Property Management & the tenant's. Happy seller. And, the tenant's miraculously allowed access to the property! The sale price that I was originally told amazingly went UP by $75K. Just saying.
