We met Andrew at the sale of a neighbouring property in Nov 2020 – we attended primarily to gauge the impact of the COVID crisis on real estate sales and how the market was responding. Although we weren’t contemplating a sale of our own property at that time, we were very impressed with Andrew’s understanding of the Balmain market, and where it was heading in terms of prices, demand and actual sales. This led to a formal meeting with Andrew in Dec 2020, where he proposed that we consider a sale in mid-late January 2021 due to a predicted rise in demand, low supply in the market and very competitive prices. Despite the unexpected ‘Northern Beaches COVID Outbreak’ in December, we put our trust in Andrew’s plan and were rewarded with an early pre-auction sale and an exceptional price outcome, all in just under 3 weeks from the day of the photo shoot.
