The house was sold at Auction with Mr Andrew Summons as auctioneer. The Auction and preceding campaign went smoothly and successfully and the outcome was above our expectation. Mr Summons and his team (Andrew James, Lauchlan Waterfield and Walter Summons) provided continuing feedback and followed up thoroughly on prospective buyers’ questions. Mid campaign meetings kept us fully informed of progress and very useful advice was given prior to auction day. The auction itself was very well staffed with support to bidders and especially support to us when we needed to decide on when to actually say that the house was on the market. Our auction stalled briefly at a figure just below the reserve and having a highly experienced member of the team with us at that moment helped immensely. Eventually, once the house was put on the market with their advice, a bidding war took the price up significantly. This indicates the value of the support given to us.
