After driving two hours to view this property, I asked Andrew if he would mind if I used the toilet, I was desperate. It was a Wednesday and I was the only person there. He said no. I had to take the lift down and relieve myself on the street. He knew I had driven a considerable distance that day to view the property. I understand it is covid, but we are humans and this can happen now and then and the apartment was a vacant apartment. I asked simple questions to Andrew, such as what were the comparable properties he used to make an opinion on price. He said the property was so unique, he couldn't find any. I did, pretty quickly actually when I went home on RP Data. I also asked him how many contracts were out, he refused to disclose this. And then argued with me about it. I don't know how withholding this information could have benefitted the vendor. Contracts out is the type of information I have freely given out, when working as a real estate agent, back in the day when being respectful to vendors was all the rage. Everything about the way he dealt with me, made me feel very uncomfortable. Had I not worked as a real estate agent in the past, I would not have purchased from Andrew, I felt he was being evasive and I couldn't trust him, but I knew what I was doing so I went forward with the purchase. This is something to consider, if you choose to sell through Andrew. How many potential vendors will he scare away with his unorthodox manner combined with his considerable vacillation to purchasers requests.
