Andy Yeung
Along with Marco Bonetti, Andy was my selling agent for the recent sale of my apartment in Roseville. From my initial conversations with Andy, it was very clear that he offered a very comprehensive, finely-tuned and highly professional sales service, backed up by an excellent sales record. Moreover, his deep knowledge of the lower north shore apartment market, the demographics of buyers in this area and their needs, and having all the marketing tools (including social media) needed to be exploited in present-day real estate sales, was very impressive. While the commission that Andy charged (2.2% incl GST) was at the high end compared to other agencies, it turned out to be well worth it. In particular was the outstanding service provided in preparing my property for sale. Here Andy’s colleague, Marco, did an excellent job of organising and coordinating all the trades people required for repainting the property, replacing the carpet, and undertaking various repairs. This was all done in just over a week, and relieved me of a very time-consuming and challenging task given my remote location in Melbourne. The sales campaign was then run in a very slick, efficient and professional manner. What I appreciated most was the very responsive and informative level of communication throughout, be it via WhatsApp, email, or phone. I was always kept immediately and well informed on buyer interest, buyer feedback and attendances at open inspections. This was backed up by detailed weekly email updates on how the sales campaign was going, individual buyer feedback, and where the level of interest was price-wise. I received my first serious offer just after 2 weeks into the sales campaign. In the end, this was the one and only offer I received for my property. While disappointing at the time, retrospectively I am happy with the result, appreciating in particular Andy’s (and Marco’s) efforts to make sure the market had been exhausted as a result of their very well run campaign.
