Basically tried to under value my property. Came in with 2 cash offers way below market value with Ray White as a vested intrest. Charged over 3 % commission when at the time the Perth Rate was ave 2.6%. From the night we signed up we regretted It as we didnt check commissions Etc, we trusted, so that was our bad. To late the contract was signed. I didnt want to do this review, and ignored the first request, but recieved a text request from Ankur, so decided to explain my experience with Ray White. My opinion is his work in Kenwick has devalued the area, by pushing owners to sell cheap. We checked every sale price and agent in Kenwick for the last two years to get a good handle on the market. He kept quoting previous sell prices, and was very convincing. His cheap sales mainly. I amost sold cheap, but my wife stopped me, she saw thru him and did not trust him to do the right thing by us the seller. By holding our ground and not listening to him for advice, we got $15,000 more from a sucessful subject to finance offer. A nice couple ended up with the house and not some cheap cutting investor. Once we had found out the vested intrest clause, we were not going to sell that way regardless of the offer. I feel if he had not been convincing other sellers in the area to sell cheap, I would have got the original purchase price I paid 7 years ago about. Sure he will sell your house but at what price.
