Fairly standard buying process however we were very disappointed with the state of the house at settlement.Clear instructions in special conditions specified property to be professionally cleaned-including garden. State of the entire property at final walk through before settlement was filthy & subsequently at the handover of keys at settlement.The selling agent had obviously not inspected house prior to handover of keys.Unimpressed.There were five parties involved in the sale sale & purchase of this property; the ex-tenants, the managing agents for the property as a rental, the sellers, the selling agents and us, the buyers, we are quite annoyed that we have been the ones who have had to deal with the cleaning up of the property including the dog poo filled garden. Especially with our clear specifications in the special conditions. The buck should have stopped with the selling agent. Not a great experience.
