Anne Gu
I was referred to Anne Gu through a friend, so I initially approached this with a level of trust. However, in hindsight, the experience felt heavily transaction-driven rather than client-focused. During my second inspection, there was no clear guidance or emphasis on arranging a building inspection — a step that I now realise is essential and should have been actively encouraged. As a buyer relying on professional advice, I expected more structure and transparency throughout the process. Instead, key due diligence steps were not clearly addressed, and the process moved forward quickly without giving me sufficient opportunity to properly assess the property. After settlement, I identified multiple issues with the property that could likely have been uncovered earlier with proper inspection. This has significantly impacted my overall experience. While I understand that buyers ultimately make their own decisions, I believe a good agent plays an important role in ensuring buyers are properly informed and supported at each stage. Based on my experience, this expectation was not met. I would be cautious when relying solely on the guidance provided.
