Sale of 7 Reginald St Mt Lofty. I hold a power of attorney for my sister – the owner of 7 Reginald St -who now resides in a nursing home. When the sale of my sister’s home became necessary I asked for recommendations of Estate Agents and was advised by friends to contact Anne Pohlner. I invited Anne to act as my agent for the sale of the Mt Lofty property around late March 2015 and was immediately impressed by her enthusiasm and knowledge. The property was listed, advertised, sale board erected and promoted in the Chronicle Real Estate Guide in quick time. After just 2 weekends of open for inspection a buyer made an offer and on this being accepted, a deposit was paid and a contract prepared. At this point it was discovered that the property had – on construction in 1981 – one only building inspection and required an engineer’s structural survey, front stairs reconstruction and a perimeter pest spray before we could obtain a form 21 building certification. Without that certification the sale could not proceed. Anne provided expert guidance and support through the entire process. As I live on the coast, many appointments for repair work or inspection were attended by Anne. Without her unfailing assistance it is likely that the property sale would have taken much more time and the costs of all the work needed would have increased.
