- We received acceptance of offer through DocuSign. REA attempted to get us to sign paperwork that would invalidate this legally binding contract. Also, tried to tell us that the seller had not accepted special conditions, despite all annexures signed. - Arranged viewings without informing tenants in one of the houses. Awkward as potential buyers knowing the only notice they got was a knock on the door. - Did not disclose full details of a change in tenancy giving the strong impression that the tenants were likely to leave earlier, thereby allowing us to move in sooner. Tried to claim there had been full disclosure (which definitely was not the case) At the time of O&A, made written statements such as ‘there is trouble in paradise’ and ‘we can ask the tenants to vacate earlier as we manage the property’, meanwhile arranging for 3 new tenants to move in right at the time of O&A (and not telling us until much later) - At the time of O&A, promised to ask tenants if they were open to the idea of finding a new place to reside knowing lease would not be renewed beyond the expiration (allowing them to find something more long term and giving them the opportunity to break lease without penalty) but then kept refusing to ask. We were obviously happy to honour tenants’ decision but a response was required to make decisions regarding our own living arrangements - REA provided instructions in contradiction with the JFOGC for sale of land - For sale sign had photos of the house next door. Land sizes noted on signs were incorrect. - Refused to reply to emails regarding information that they had requested, instead sending unprofessional emails to our settlement agent regarding matters outside of the scope of their role - Tried to suggest it might be appropriate to drop the keys to our new house in the letterbox. - Provided keys to the wrong house - When we attempted to address concerns with them directly, they further antagonised the situation.
