While Anthony was busy negotiating and becoming friendly with the purchaser, he forgot the basic detail of talking to us about suitable terms of settlement. It was only from our conveyancer, days later, that we found we had "agreed" to a 7 day exchange & 14 day settlement. We tried very hard to meet deadlines in this COVID world, living in another state across a closed border, spending time trying to make it work while also working full time - all of which took many extra days to do the simplest of tasks. Anthony was not understanding when deadlines were missed, often berating us for missing deadlines. In addition to the pressures Anthony was applying just to get the sale, was also the added demands from the purchaser for missing the same deadlines. We found the whole process extremely stressful and as such would never recommend LJ Hooker to anyone.
