Anthony knows his market and he's an effective negotiator
We just bought a property through Anthony although our relationship with him extends back a few years, both as a buyer and potential seller in Cammeray. The thing that struck us from the beginning was how much time Anthony was willing to invest in really trying to understand exactly what we were after as a buyer and when we asked, in explaining how best to get a top price, as a seller. At one point we were looking very seriously at a property that we weren't buying through him while at the same time deciding not to sell our current property and despite there being no obvious gain for him, he invested a lot of his time in guiding us on how to successfully bid for the property. We were very pleasantly surprised but we really appreciated it. He clearly has a long term view and his strength lies in the relationships he builds with his clients, rather than solely focusing and investing in short-term or one off opportunities. He is also very honest and behaves with integrity. From the very beginning Anthony knew that the house we eventually purchased was the one for us and he made sure there were no surprises for us leading up to the auction. We really felt he looked out for us whilst at the same time getting a fantastic result for the vendor. As a vendor it would be reassuring to know that Anthony really understands his buyers needs and often has the buyer for your property already. Anthony was very dedicated to this campaign and whilst he clearly was connected to the potential purchasers, ultimately I felt comfortable that he was looking after the sellers best interests. He put a lot of work into the sales process, leaving no stone unturned and attending to every little detail. I found him to be pleasant and truthful about the property we were inspecting i.e.: what the price would be and what the interest was etc. We also shared a sense of humour which always helps! I was thinking about selling my apartment and because of its position several agents had pushed for my business and promised me this and that to go with them. Anthony never pushed for my business or hassled me about buying anything he was up front and pleasant at all times. anything he told me in relation to the sale and cost was accurate.
