Arch took the time to talk to me and explain all of the things I didn't understand, sometimes the same thing multiple times! He was very easy to communicate with. He was always friendly and positive. We are so glad we chose Arch to sell our home, our home needed someone with knowledge and experience in the market place. His quiet and positive manner was one of the main reasons we chose Arch. Arch helped us work out a selling price based on quality, value and the current market, Even though we had a few low ball offers Arch assured us that we would get more than what we had been offered!! This was a relief as we were in no hurry to sell and I half expected Arch to put a little pressure on us to sell our property. Thank you for the chance to give a review. Arch Montgomery's(please note. Correctly spelling his name),Customer service went down hill on very steep decline after our offer was excepted by his clients. It's about now that he insisted on communication via text message. Leaving me with an impression that he is very UN professional. Not answering phone calls and some times not replying to text for hours or even days, given this is your preferred communication method I find this under par. At best. Via text we finally organised our final inspection, walking into the inspection we are hoping that Arch can answer the questions that he could not answer at our previous inspection. Questions that we left with "I'll double check that" and "as far as I know but I'll ask the client". We found again we could not go onto the back veranda because the dogs where running around and he was unsure how the dogs would react to strange people. During the final inspection we could not speak to Arch, he spent the whole time either on the phone. (talking. We got a laugh from that) or doing paper work. Once we walked back out the front door as if we where going to leave we finally got his attention. It is now that he still has no answers for the questions asked almost 120 days previously. Questions raised where things such as: -What is the gas supply. -Do you know where the septic tank could be found. -Is the house water supply from tank or mains water. These 3 he had no answer for. When he did answer it was conflicting with the section 32. It's now clear that we are no longer important to Arc Montgomery. 5 days out from settlement we are told that instead of collecting the key from kilmore we have go to Wallan. (25-30km out of the way). We insisted that kilmore is necessary. For someone who has "earned" over 19k commission for this sale. I'm insulted to hear he could be considered for such a award. $650k he should know his product. Rhet Lock (not Rhett) & Monica.
