There is no doubt that Arthur and his team have achieved and exceeded, through auction, the reserve price we had in mind for that property. I have however some comments on some details and campaign running. I will be brief and in points: (1) For the sake of comparable properties, Arthur used 3 properties, 2 in South Morang and 1 in Mill Park. While our house was advertised as 5 bedroom house, all 3 properties were 3 bedroom houses. To me as a vendor, that was not "comparable"!! (2) Based on number 1 above, estimated selling price was set at $600 to $660 grands. All offers received understandably, were in that range. (3) Sophie Carter, Arthur's assistant, has been an excellent communicator and very prompt in replying to my messages. However, i had to communicate to Sophie what I had no need to! For example, asking for another photographer to take photos of our backyard (one of the main features of our house) after the unwillingness of the first photographer to take photos of it, even after I asked him to. In addition, that first photographer produced a floor plan with 4 wrong dimensions. I had to go through the house with a measuring tape and provide Sophie with correct measurements. Sophie was, however, prompt in editing the changes in no time and in sending another photographer.
