Respectful to our needs in our house sale

The sale of our house was sensitive. This was our beautiful Mums home. Sadly she lost her cancer battle in 2024 and keeping her home held too many memories for us. Unfortunately we had to let it go. Ash approached us with a potential buyer for Mums house after selling the neighbours house and hearing of our story. The property didn't go to market and wasn't even listed. I met with the potential buyers Dad and thereafter with the potential new owner. From the moment I was asked if we'd consider selling the house to the potential buyer, the stars aligned. We had similar stories and there were so many coincidences that made it a clear choice. Mums home was going to be someone else's home. For us, it wasn't about finding the highest bidder but finding the right person to make the house a home. We feel very confident that we've handed the house over to the right new owner and I really hope it's as full of love and happiness moving forward as it was for us, with our Mum. We appreciate Ash having the aforethought to match our house with the right new owner. It may not have been possible if we'd listed the house to the open market.
