When we first started to think about selling and downsizing our daughter recommended Julie Ormston and Partners as Julie had sold our daughters previous homes and as she was very impressed with Julies business and sales technique. In todays soft home selling market we new that it might be a struggle to get a quick sale but more to the point a price acceptable to us to move. Julie's initial visit to us laid the foundation of engaging a very professional with high integrity sales consultant and someone who new the market and gave true and honest advice. We took Julies advise on how to present our home for selling and the photo shoot. We opened our home on a Saturday that was a very stormy and wet day and Julie rang and asked if we wanted to postpone as clients may not come out on such a day. The home open was closed and because of the interest shown, Sunday opening was arranged. As a result of clients viewing the home on the Sunday an offer was made and accepted on the Monday of which Julie had consulted tirelessly with the prospective buyer and presented an offer to us that was acceptable. Our home was sold in 2 days without an advertising sign and little advertising because of the highly organised nature of the business with a list of clients looking for homes in various areas. We are very impressed with Ormston and Partners and the staff employed within the company and would highly recommend Ormston and Partners to anyone contemplating sell their home.
I purchased a house from Julie in October 2015 in Woodvale, a place I had often thought about living..from first communication with Julie I found the service she offered to be very professional, personal with open communication. There is one thing that I felt sets Julie apart from other real estate agents, she looked after the interests of both the seller and the buyer which you don't often find. I might add that this time in my life was not great either and I was appreciative of Julie's personal touch during this time, more like a friend than a 'real estate agent'. I also appreciate as did my son the welcoming gifts Julie gave us when we moved into our home. My son did comment "can we buy our next house from Julie" and I would not hesitate to do so.....
