We engaged Belinda as our selling agent at probably the worst time for her and us! A contract through another agent recommended to us had crashed, the communication during this period was practically non existent and often not factual. Covid was now almost a part of life, interest rates were low, financial institutions were nervous, and incompetent brokers were being found out, and Belinda had just started out on her own away from one of the larger agent groups in the area. As a successful former Real Estate Agent back in the late 80s early 90s, I had high expectations for honesty, enthusiasm, professionalism and most importantly, reliable and believable communication. I purchased a house that Belinda was selling. What I like about Belinda is that she doesn't waffle or play 'games' when it comes to interacting with her. When I identified a problem with the house, Belinda didn't disrespect my comments by trying to contradict what I said. My purchase experience was rather terrible but none of that was because of Belinda but rather the bank I used. However, Belinda kept her cool throughout the process and remained positive, and despite some moments being quite intense, she was quick to identify a misunderstanding and keep our professional relationship on track. After a very stressful process (again not due to Belinda) it was terrific to have her arrive one by surprise one afternoon with a hamper of treats to welcome me to the community and wish me well. If I need a real estate agent in the future, I'll have no compunction about contracting Belinda to do my work.
