Disappointment

I was very disappointed by the service I received from Ben. I chose Ben as he said he would provide a weekly written report as part of the marketing strategy and seemed more organised and a better communicator at the initial appraisal meeting than other agents. In reality, I had to chase up Ben for these reports and neighbours were briefed on my potential buyers before I was compromising my confidentiality. My home was frequently left unsecured at the end of inspections and fittings were broken. I feel Ben acted more as a buyer's agent than a seller's agent. The initial written offer was never given to me but only communicated verbally making me question if there was really an offer and inspections were cancelled without me being informed. Ben did not follow my instructions including that I wanted the sale price to remain undisclosed online. Around the same time I was involved with a relative's house sale and the experiences were chalk and cheese so I know I deserved a better outcome.
