We only got to meet Ben once before Covid lockdown, so our purchase was sight unseen. Ben was patient, professional & answered every question without delay (& there were many)! We were new to the online auction process, which Ben talked us through & made us actually enjoy the experience so much we bought another property from him a week later!! Ben was fantastic. Ben sold us our apartment over a decade ago so we thought it only fair that he was the one to sell it on for us! He didn’t disappoint! Ben provided an appraisal of our properly very quickly and it was extremely accurate based on what we finally received at the auction. Feedback and timeliness of responses from Ben and the team was excellent in terms of accuracy of the information and advice he provided. We worked with Ben in a collaborative manner. Our property is at a beautiful location but it took a particular buyer to make the decision to buy because of its altitude, regular snowfall etc. Ben was very patient, but also very persistent in a calm manner. The eventual buyers made five inspections with many questions. Ben handled all their questions very competently and worked with us to give the most informed responses. It should be noted that we selected Ben after he had sold us the property over seven years previously. We would highly recommend him and his integrity to other prospective buyers and sellers.
I casually responded to a generic email from Ben in March where he wrote that "it was a good time to sell in the Snowy Mountains". Not really knowing what my unit was worth I asked for a valuation. Ben came back with a range that I admit was more than I was expecting. I immediately was interested and Ben then suggested an Openn Negotiation. Ben was confident that he could achieve the high end of his range and have it all done in 2 weeks. Being old fashioned I was obviously skeptical but decided to place my faith in his hands. After the first open for inspection I had an offer of more than Ben's high range and he suggested we strap in and go for the ride as more would come. He was on the money and the unit sold in the 2 weeks as promised and for way more than Ben even expected. My wife and I had so much fun watching the auction process pan out before our eyes on our computers at home in Sydney. I cannot thank Ben enough for his professional approach and achieving such a remarkable price. I would recommend him and Openn Negotiation to anyone wanting to sell property in the Snowy Mountains.
