Benjamin Hollow
A charming lad with an alarming backstory. Big hair, shiny suit, but for me, it was a disappointing result. Advertise low to suck them in. That was his marketing strategy. And it appeared to suck in those with a low budget. Three other agents promised 2-300k more than we achieved. But the above two points aren’t my problem with this company. When I first met their agent I was having a cheeky beer at 11 am. I was on holiday, I thought, from the grey, dull, chilly climes of my home in England. I’d come over to clean and sell my mother’s house. When I handed in the keys, the boss of Stockdale & Leggo came out and made a crack about my drinking problem, and wished he too had the freedom to drink at that time of day. I was embarrassed. I was humiliated. I was made to feel like a hapless vagrant. In my childhood home. On holiday. Here’s my problem. I don’t give a poo what they think, but how unprofessional are they to let that office gossip be shared with me.
