Ben & Team took on the sale in March after another Agent, who now no longer works in the area, scuttled my campaign during February before Covid hit and hit hard. The original auction date landed on the same date in March when auctions were suspended. I could tell from the interest in the first couple of weeks that the house would have sold had Covid not hit, but then it all moved into unchartered waters. During lockdown Ben kept me informed and pulled whatever strings were necessary to retain interest in the property and keep me across market movements. As I was not a distressed seller the reserve price never changed so Ben and team were tasked with selling this value to the right buyer who would agree with my price point in a very tough market. Here we are in July and because of the team's persistence, knowledge and hard work we got the result and i'm sure the new owner will love it. This is no mean feat as there was a fair level of distrust from me due to the first Agent ruining 6 months of hard work leading up to the sale. Moreover, the AVNU platform will keep you across how everything is tracking so there is no hiding behind fictitious statements, the numbers are there for all to see and it promotes a healthy dialogue between Vendor and Agent. From someone who was burnt I can assure you Ben is one of the good guys so don't be afraid to reach out and have a chat to him.
