We've been poorly treated by a number of agents whilst looking for our family home, but I can honestly say we have respect for Betty and we appreciate the time and assistance from her.

Where do we start... From meeting Betty, we knew instantly that she was going give 100% from the get go. Betty found us the perfect house on the first day we went looking to buy. The whole process hasn't been the smoothest (but by no fault of Betty's) and she has been in non stop contact with us assuring everything will be ok and keeping us sane! Having dealt with lots of agents in business and in social settings I have never met a more kind hearted, caring and lovely person like Betty. My wife and I were tossing up as to which agent to use to sell our house in February, 2017. My wife Lorraine, explained that she had herd a lot of good reports about Betty Walk from McIntyre Real Estate. We called Betty and it was no time and she arrived and signed us up for a future sale. A fortnight went by and Betty called to say she wanted an open house the next Saturday. Betty opened the house, had seventeen couples through and she thought she may have two likely contenders. One buyer was only prepared to pay the asking price which would have been alright but Betty said look I think I may be able to negotiate a better deal with the other buyer. Not only is Betty a great agent, she is understanding and kind. She marketed our property during one of the most difficult times for us and she did so with compassion and understanding, contacting us when she absolutely needed to but always keeping our interest paramount.
Having used Betty when selling our previous house we were confident when choosing her to sell for us again. Betty quickly assessed the market place, was decisive in recommending we sell by auction explaining the reasons why that option was the best strategy. She quickly and efficiently arranged for an open house with a very pleasing number of groups. A walk through a few days later led to the buyers signing a contract that day. Betty was my agent during a sale that was protracted by virtue of legal issues arising from a difficult issue of probate (nothing to do with the sale as such). Having been sold for a good price at auction, completion had to wait months to be settled. Betty was great during the period leading up to the auction, excellent at managing relations between myself and the purchaser (who was put out at having to wait months to move into the property) and just all round terrific. Would recommend her unhesitatingly.
After organising appraisals from three different agencies I was convinced Betty Wark was the agent for me. Betty gave an honest appraisal and was not just after quick commission - even though the property was sold before auction. The property needed some serious cleaning and Betty arranged a facilities management company to help me out. I was very impressed with the work they performed inside and outside the house - giving the home a true sense of it's real value.
I was buying from interstate and Betty helped to make that process as smooth as possible. She was always very willing to provide information and chase up answers for us from the seller.
