From first point of contact with Mike and Stephen the service and advice was superb. Most agents can sell a home but to really sell a property it is all in the presentation then after the raw ability . Mike does have a cutting "edge" above other Agents that I've dealt with and displays a sound knowledge of the market. He doesn't shy away from a challenge. He reassured us of his capabilities through his extensive display during the sales pitch. Throughout the sale, the contact with Mike was minimal and straight to the point. If you needed that extra bit of pep-talk or like to elaborate during the phone calls, you shouldn't expect that, but having said that he would update you or return calls/messages in a timely fashion. The sales agents are accommodating. Mike had some rubbish removed in front of our house for us. Overall, during the process, I felt at ease and comfortable that I was in good hands until we had a positive outcome on the sale price. The only disappointment that I received was at the handover. Being my first sale of a house, it was a big deal to me and I was expecting a personal handshake and "congratulations" from Mike. No, Instead, I was asked to drop the keys to the office and pick up my "gift" which consisted of stationery promotional items. This was quite lame and disappointing. While he rectified it, It robbed me of that celebratory moment and acknowledgment of my first sale. If he can be there for the first handshake, he should be there for the final handshake too. Despite this, I would consider using Edge again simply based on the performance outcome and their drive to be a success.
