I have, as others have, been a bit dubious about Real Estate Agents in the past as I, personally, have found them to be a bit TOO high pressure for my liking. But after losing my wife recently to a long debilitating illness I decided [after a lot of consideration] to move on. Make yourself a cuppa as I wish to elaborate a little. As there was a house sold in my street, though some 18 months prior, for a RECORD price by "Gittoes Real Estate, East Gosford" I decided to enquire as to the 'actual' sales person of that property, that person being one Blake Stratton, so I asked the receptionist for him to contact me. Within no time [as expected] Blake contacted me and called around to my HOME. He was a bright [big] young 'gentleman' whom I found extremely easy to like as he was very caring as to my situation and very honest in his approach. He realised that I didn't WANT to sell but accepted that I had to make the decision of HAVING to move on. As with other Estate Agents that I have dealt with in the past, who are generally 'all business' and a bit 'pushy' for the 'sale' I found Blake to be the exact opposite.... I was hesitant to sell though I knew that it was time, so I told Blake to give me time and 'I' would let him know when I was ready to make 'the' move and he was VERY understanding. Anyway Blake got the ball rolling, did an incredible job with putting it on the market AND he kept me informed nearly every day as to the process..... the day came for 'Open House'.... well Blake, and his Team [TEAM BLAKE] did a REMARKABLE job... they introduced 22 couples on the day and, believe it or not, TWO DAYS later it was sold... for a "RECORD PRICE" for a 3 BRM house in the area. I HONESTLY recommend Blake and the team at GITTOES for their professionalism as I TRULY believe that you WON'T do better, take my word for it, and good luck in your next adventure.. Larry HINDS JP
I have had a lot of experience with buying and selling real estate on the Central Coast over the years and I have to say that I’m very impressed with the level of communication and hard work that Blake Stretton put in to sell my home. Blake achieved $40,000 over what I originally expected and with his strategies and advice I knew that my property was in good hands. One of the things that impressed me the most was, that Blake would often communicate out of normal work hours just to keep me updated with the progress of the sale. Initially, I thought Blake wasn't the agent for marketing my parents home. He knew my parents and thought possibly he was a 'shoe in' for marketing the listing. Was I wrong! I am a straight shooter, so I made it clear of our expectations and he has more than exceeded those. He was realistic and accurate with the marketable price range for the house and worked within those parameters. He managed to increase the price paid by $30,000, kept the family informed throughout the process and was always polite in every dealing we had with him. Blake knows his stuff, he works for the seller, his advice was productive and our family greatly appreciated his level of professionalism and the result he was able to achieve.

We were looking at the property market for nearly a year and on the verge of giving up any dream of trying to get into the property market and have an investment one day. The last house viewing we attended turned our lives around. The property wasn't exactly what we were after again. Blake was one of the agents at the house viewing. Meeting Blake turned our lives around. He listened to my fiance and I and then went back, did some research and showed us something that met our needs exactly. He continued to assist us with setting it up and walked us through the entire process. Gittoes Rental department assisted us with managing the tenancy agreements and all that goes with it. I was dealing with quite a few real estate agents while I was looking to buy a property. I wasn't sure as to why most of them were rude or disinterested when I was looking to buy. Blake Stretton was totally the opposite to the agents I was dealing with from other companies. He was professional and friendly, giving me and my wife a very great first impression which made our purchase decision easy. As it was the first investment property I was going to purchase, it was great to have someone to guide me through some of the queries I had. The overall experience was great. Would definitely recommend Blake to whoever is selling or buying. 10/10

When I first met Blake I knew he was the agent to sell my property. It was a very emotional decision for me to sell the property. The property has been in my family for 3 generations. The are many fond memories of this property. Blake listed to me and understood my emotions. He did not pressure me into it but let me go away and return when I was ready to take this step. He said that he would contact me from time to time to see how I was coping. When I finally made my decision Blake assisted me all the way. He would talk to me regularly each week and told me where he was at with all the prospective buyers. He also passed onto me any comments made about my property. Blake worked many hours after normal working hours trying to encourage buyers and finally found a buyer who met my expectations. I would highly recommend Blake to anyone who has a property to sell.
As we all know selling houses is very stressful. Blake took control and managed the sale of our property with speed, professionalism and above all a fantastic result.
