Purchased the property and Kate and Brad were great.....until the paperwork was signed, then frankly it appeared they couldn't care less about me. We had to collect the keys from a meter box as neither of them were available to meet us at the property. items on the building report had not been rectified, even simple things like light globes. They has called to say they were coming around that weekend to check everything was ok and give us a settlement gift, they never arrived. We had multiple issues to discuss and tried to email and call to no avail, tried via the settlement agent and still no joy. Eventually a few months later we found answers, and it eventuated that Kate and Brad had had the information from the seller for months and not passed it on, so we spent months of time and stress trying to contact them and the settlement agent. We firmly believe the seller was told one thing and we were told another, based on email chains we have seen the seller is angry at us for things which we never requested, such as delayed settlement - we were told they were not ready and demanding they vacate the property immediately. we knew the seller had small children and we didn't want to add any undue stress to them. We feel like as soon as the sale was made and the agents had their commission they didn't care anymore, it was such a shame as they were good up until then. This was my first property purchase and it was totally ruined from this experience. i felt like just another pay check and not a valued customer.
