Brenton Learmonth from Leighton Jones Teal Estate in Kenmore, Brisbane is the first real estate agent I have ever truly trusted. He comes from north Qld originally & whilst he is sharp as a tack, he hasn’t lost that “country boy” laid back, friendly nature. He guided us all the way (along with input from Leighton who is also amazing), organised us with a terrific stylist, builders/painters/landscape gardeners (Brenton even helped with painting the back door & mulching my plants) - whatever we needed to ensure our property was at its best for sale, he organised for us happily. We had spent 5 years off and on trying to sell this house - it wasn't a lemon but it hadn't had its proper moment to shine. Assuming from their flashy marketing materials that Leighton Jones Real Estate was a little too big for it's britches we'd avoided them but it turns out that we were wrong! Really wrong! Brenton and Leighton came out to view the house, told us exactly what we needed to do to make the house competitive (during a pandemic!), within our budget, and supported us all along the way. The video they produced was hysterical and really gave the house an edge over the others on the market. We had two written offers on the Monday morning after the first open house on the Saturday! The sale price achieved was what they had predicted (a very pleasant surprise!) Once the sale was underway, Brenton managed everything magnificently, and was in regular contact with us and the buyer, through multiple bank-related delays. Brenton was open, cheerful and dependable throughout and we can't recommend him highly enough - he certainly breaks the 'real estate agent' mould :-)
