When I eventually inspected the property and submitted an offer Sam was incredibly professional and attentive. He was quick to oblige when There were issues with the building inspection and I was incredibly grateful for this. Prior to this I was disappointed that my requests for an inspection- 26 April and 5 May did not result in an inspection as the property was ‘under offer’. As I had made two written requests for an inspection and one phone call I believe I should have been notified immediately when the original contract fell through! Sam managed the sale of our property in Hobart from start to finish with finesse and expertise. We live in Melbourne, and so had to rely on Sam and his wonderful PA to manage everything for us. This included maintenance on the property to get it ready for sale, advice on the presentation, and how best to market the property and what price range to use. I found him to be very well-informed about the current state of the market and he managed my expectations regarding the pricing strategy well (I had higher hopes than the current market would support). He had clearly researched the area my house was in and provided up to date information regarding comparable properties and sale prices. He explained the marketing strategy effectively and clearly described my options and the cost involved. While the house was on the market, Sam and his wonderful executive assistant Mattie, kept me up to date on progress with open homes etc. I note that during this period, Sam contracted COVID, but his level of commitment is such that we met via video and he put arrangements in place for another agent to cover the open home. I would not hesitate to recommend Sam to other people; and will definitely work with him in the future if I decide to sell again.
