After deciding to sell one of our investment properties we had Callum recommended to us by a friend who had used him on a sale of one of their properties. We could not have been happier for the following reasons. We were selling in to a tough market, the whole time Callum kept in contact with us to inform us of what was happening, where simmiler units were being priced as well as keeping and eye on other apartments for sale in the building. Each time there as an open house we received feedback on the same day as to how it went and if there as any potential buyers. The timing of the openings were timed to take advantage of other openings in the area. Callum was always well informed of the goings on in the CBD. We received an offer, from a buyer who was rather difficult and was attempting to score the apartment for well under the market value, rather than just push for a quick sale, Callum worked to bring the price up to an acceptable figure. The buyer who was quite difficult failed to get finance in the end. Given the change to banking loan limits at the time. Callum sensing that this may happen started chasing some other potential buyers. With in 1 week of the first buyer falling through he had found another buyer willing to pay our initial asking price. Callum is the agent you need if you want to be told the truth. He will work hard and do what is right for you. At no stage during the process did i find myself in the usual situation of feeling as though my agent was working in his own interests. Dealing with Callum was easy especially as this was not as straight forward a transaction as some, he answered all questions asked of him in a timely manor. I have no hesitation in recommending Callum and would be happy to deal through him again.
Callum Davidson was really great to work with. He made himself available to answer all our silly questions even after we had looked at the apartment he answered all the did it have this and how big was this space questions. He kept us in the loop as to what was happening with negotiations all the time too. Totally recommend him if you want to buy or sell.
