Hi Amber,
Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your experience with us. I'm pleased to hear that you found our communication effective once we were under contract.
I do understand your concerns regarding our process of presenting offers, and I apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused.
Your insights are valuable and unfortunately all agents don’t work within the scope of protecting their sellers as we do.
Best practice as an award winning REIQ member is to present offers on a formal contract, although all agents aren’t the same and don’t uphold best practice standards. I therefore understand your rating but feel I and my team would not be working for the seller, which is what we are suppose to do. A piece of paper as an expression of interest is not at all binding. I would appreciate you to enter the side of a seller, would you accept an offer of a buyer if they are not committing to a contract? They can simply withdraw the offer without any recourse?
First home buyers find the correct contract process daunting however that is why you should seek independent legal advice.
I’m sure when you are the seller one day, you’ll appreciate an agent that protects your interests as a property is a huge investment.
It's important to us to provide a professional experience from start to finish, and I'm glad to know that once the seller signed, things went smoothly for you. If there's anything more we can do to assist or any questions you have, please don't hesitate to reach out. Your satisfaction is important to us.
Kind regards, Cara Bergmann
