My father and I first met Carol Johnson in 2010, when she offered to value Dad's house. A person of great integrity, she made a very favourable impression on both of us. Dad said that he wasn't contemplating selling at that time, but if he ever did, he would appoint her as his estate agent. At no time did she ever pester us, or ask if we were ready to sell. My brother met Carol about a year ago, and was also impressed by her knowledge and skills. Unfortunately, my father's affairs were placed under the jurisdiction of a trustee company, which, although my brother and I wanted Carol to sell the house and both put it in writing, the trustees wanted to appoint their own agent. Carol had to do a lot of work to convince them she was the best person for the position. Carol goes the extra mile to help her clients; her husband even cleaned Dad's pool every day just before the house was open for inspection. She was prepared to give directions with clearing the house and even came around to see how we were getting on.
