My husband and myself met Carolyn at a open home she was doing. We got talking and mentioned what we were looking for and our budget. Carolyn kept in constant contact with us on properties she was listing etc. we ended up buying through Carolyn a beautiful house on 3/4 of an acre which we never thought would be possible. Carolyn was actually the second agent I approached to sell my property. When comparing the two agents it was a very easy decision which one to choose. Carolyn first inspected the entire property so she knew the "ins and outs" and to see what it had to offer before she arrived at a listing price. The first agent couldn't be bothered with this and suggested a ridiculous price. Carolyn then suggested some things to do to make the property more attractive. Carolyn's knowledge, experience and passion was very obvious. She then brought in a photographer and prepared to go "live"..Before this could happen, she had a buyer and within six hours she sold the property at a price $32,000 more than I expected. OK so I would not normally write these type of reviews simply because I have an opinion with real estate agents like most of the public and that is, the return on their worth / value with respect to commissions earned.........well I just want to say that we had a property that had its challenges to sell given it was situated in a gated complex community in an area where sales were very difficult to achieve for a variety of reasons, i.e. : market changes over the years, stress sales within the complex, you name it... However through this whole process we had a phenomenal agent who stuck to the task of not giving up. I met Julie Rayner last year as I like a lot of investors live out of state. Julie has a tenacity and work ethic that always gave us hope that a sale would eventually transpire just through her sheer persistence. Although this review is geared towards her boss's company Carolyn Drane Acreage, Julie was very much instrumental as our agent working with Carolyn who was equally supportive in the process. For those thinking of selling their property, I can't recommend this dynamic duo enough as we ended up with a great selling price. Their professionalism, follow up reporting and market updates and efforts to go the extra mile gave me restored confidence knowing there are quality agents who actually are passionate in their vocation and take great pride in their work.
