I first met Chantel Laing Hardwick about four years ago, she was the agent handling the sale of another unit in my complex. At this time I was impressed with Chantel's market knowledge and her overall presentation and thought I would like her as my agent should I decide to sell my unit in the future. Forward to 2016 and I made the decision to sell. From the moment I came into contact again with Chantel I was very impressed, her market knowledge was excellent, her presentation was impeccable and I found Chantel so approachable and we both seemed to be on the same page. The thing that stood out more than anything was her attention to detail, as I was going to be travelling at the time the unit went on the market and would not be around to make sure the unit was in pristine condition for viewing and open house inspections. Chantel made a couple of suggestions, one was for me to leave two brooms in the garage (which was accessible to the house) one for outside paths etc.and one was for inside floors, so that should the place need a little touch up prior to inspection she would be able to attend to that, the second suggestion was that she would arrive 15 to 20 minutes prior to inspections so she could open the windows and doors and air the unit, being locked up they sometimes get a little stuffy. The third suggestion was for me to leave the name of the chap I had do my back lawn and if the yard looked as though it needed a mow she could organise that for me. These three suggestions were what clinched the deal for me to choose Chantel for my agent and I must say I was not disappointed. Once I decided to go ahead with Chantel it was all smooth sailing, from photos to advertising through to the open house, and again once she found a buyer the negotiating, contract and getting it to me whilst I was away just worked like clockwork.
