room for improvement

We were pleased to sell the house after 6 months on the market but were disappointed with the final sale price ($205,000) after the agents original valuation of $249,000), not Chloe, Nicki and Sinclair. We had been aware of the issues raised after the building inspection and had discussed these with Nicki and her advice was not to spend any more on the house apart from the painting inside that we were completing at the time. Confirmation of the house sale came from our solicitor, not from our agent. Our solicitor kept in touch with us every day following acceptance of the final offer and we felt that Chloe should have as well. We are still happy to have sold the house and found Chloe polite and friendly and would have just appreciated a bit more advice as to whether the offer was round about market value?
