They outlined clear expectations based on an evident depth of experience and knowledge about the market, and great awareness about the changing times we find ourselves in. Looking back this was matched by his integrity -he says it the way it is (the good and the not so good), he is a person of his word. Chris worked hard and was diligent in getting the sale done at the best price. Chris and the team were also conscious that for us as vendors this was a new experience, he took the time to listen to us and understand our desires and needs with regard to the sale. He guided us through the process and was considerate of the fact that life and work goes on- even though we were undertaking one of the most significant transactions we will ever undertake. Chris is more like a friend than an agent when you have a casual chat with him but when we get down to business, he is very professional: punctual with open house inspection; honest with buyers and sellers. I selected Chris from amongst the 3 agents that I interviewed. I chose Chris because he showed excellent knowledge of the area in which I lived and I was impressed when he explained his approach and methods when marketing and selling a house. I was surprised with how comfortable and relaxed I felt from the time I first met Chris through to the sale (via auction) of my house. I can attribute my somewhat relaxed disposition to Chris keeping me very well informed - frequently in writing - of the level of interest in my property and his clever marketing ideas. For example, I really liked his idea to promote my house with the headline "Single Level Living". This readily identified my house as single storey and this would have captured the interest of buyers taking into account their mobility and buyers taking account of Australia's uncertain economy. Chris's online listing of my property was outstanding. The photographs and video "tour" were stunning and many friends, relatives and neighbours made highly complimentary remarks. I had never sold a house before and so I frequently contacted Chris to ask questions. He was always available to talk to me. This was because Chris has a strict limit on the number of clients he has at any one time. He told me he has the limit so as to ensure that he can give sufficient time to each of his clients. I should also note that Chris kept regular contact with the potential buyers. Confidently engaging with people is another of Chris's strong points. In summary, Chris kept me, his client, informed and, very importantly, relaxed. Chris had enthusiasm and commitment throughout the marketing and sale. At the auction Chris was excellent in his management of the bidders. I would be happy to recommend Chris.
