Our land had been on the market for three months with another agent who I believe had tried hard to sell it and came up with an offer for considerably less than the eventual sale amount. I came to the conclusion that the market would eventually pick up so I took the land off the market. Time went by and Chris called me and we discussed the value of the land. Chris's knowledge of the maket was very helpful to me in arriving at a price that was well above recent sales of similar lots. He asked if I would sell it at the at the price I had mentioned & I said yes but I am busy with other things and I don't want it advertised with signs all over it. Within 24 hours he produced a signed contract at the price I had given him. For reasons not attributible to Chris, the contract failed. A few weeks later Chris called me and asked if I would still sell the land at the price on the earlier contract. Within 24 hours he produced another contract that was signed by both parties with no "Subject to" Clauses , a very significant cash deposit and a 30 day settlement. I had 30 years in the real estate business and I was very impressed by the way that Chris went about his business. Iwould have no hesitation in recommending Chris to my best friend as a top class sales person on whom you could rely for good advice and a job well done.
