We had only met with Chris on the one occasion. Upon this short meeting with Chris we found him to be informative and knowledgeable, he answered all our questions with no hesitation, we thought of him to be genuine and honest.
As well as being our first house sale, we live interstate from our property so we needed someone attentive and who could provide reassurance that everything was proceeding and under control. Chris was exactly this, proactive, knowledgeable, friendly and patient, highly empathetic to our needs. He helped enormously with arranging quotes for repairs needed in preparation for sale, with regular updates on progress and attending personally to small touches like watering the garden. Though my wife and I haven't met Chris in person yet, through frequent communication we have enjoyed a close working relationship and we look forward to meeting him now that we have the opportunity to travel to Melbourne.
Chris's communication between myself and the vendor was definitely the stand out for Grace and I. Each step of the process was well explained, with comfortable timeframes given when decisions were needed to be made. Whilst the deadline of the auction loomed, we still felt like we had ample time to do our due diligence and it felt as though the vendor and us as owners agreed to a price that suited us both.
Chris provided good advice that assisted in having both the house in a great condition to sell but resulted in a great outcome
